This is an Albany-style sleigh and it comes with
shafts. The sleigh is very strong and does not have any apparent dry
rot. The runners are in excellent condition. The sleigh has
had an earlier restoration; thus, it comes with some scratches and
dings. The upholstery is in fine condition. This vehicle is
ready for any application so desired -- use or decoration. It is
priced to sell with minimal touch-up (no sanding or repainting
needed).
The body color is basic black with a hint of extremely
dark brown. The running gear is brick red. The upholstery is a
very dark red velour-type (seat is button-tufted) which all combined shows
very nicely. The pinstriping is red and yellow which really
complements this sleigh.

Bentwood Sled -- This is a walnut and ash adaptation of an
old-time sled. This sled is 11 years old and has never been in
snow. Guess by its beauty it has remained as a holiday decoration.
It is handmade by an award-winning horse-drawn sleigh
maker. It has a date when it was made and the initials of the
craftsman.
We have two left, one dated 3-97 and one 11-97.

Unrestored Portland Cutter. This sleigh is in great
condition but needs upholstery. There is some original pinstriping
remaining. The runners and knees are in great condition. This would
be an easy restoration project because of its condition. This sleigh
